Adams Leclair Employer Alert: Court Alters Rules Applicable to Coronavirus Paid Sick and Expanded FMLA Leave Laws
At the start of the coronavirus crisis the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (“FFCRA”) was passed, and The U.S. Department of Labor issued guidance for employers under their Final Rule. New York State sued the DOL in federal court, and on August 3rd the court issued a decision striking down several provisions of the DOL Rule.
