Alana Roberts: Horse trainer, classic car racer and newest paralegal at Adams Leclair

September 20, 2022

Adams Leclair is pleased to welcome Alana Roberts to the firm as part of the paralegal staff. Alana brings a wealth of life experiences in addition to her dedication to resolving legal issues for clients.

Alana holds degrees in Philosophy and Sociology from Mount Holyoke and received her J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law. She “caught the legal bug” while working part-time for a law firm outside of New York City.  At that juncture, she was also an assistant to an Olympic equestrian, helping to manage his training operations in New Jersey and Florida.

Alana was very active in campus organizations while in law school.  She competed on several mock trial and moot court teams, was a member of public policy organizations, and served as president of the Women in Law chapter.  She has continued her community service and presently serves on the Ontario County’s Historical Society’s Board of Directors.

After living in eight states, the Canandaigua native returned to her roots to settle down and pursue her legal career.  She recently married and spends her spare time at various racetracks and car shows with the classic British cars which she and her husband restore and race. Together, they also care for a horse and corgi. Welcome Alana Roberts!
