As of March 4, 2024, Kelly Geary has joined Adams Leclair as an associate attorney in the firm.

Kelly is an alumna of Union College and received her juris doctorate from Vermont Law School. She has been working at McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney and Carpenter for the past several years, after having also worked at the Goldberg, Segalla firm. Kelly concentrates her practice on construction & surety, employment, and insurance defense matters.

In addition to Kelly’s success in the courtroom, she has been a volunteer with JustCause (formerly Legal Services Project of Rochester), providing counsel to community members in need, and has served as a Circle of Red Advocate for the American Heart Association.  She speaks both English and Spanish and has volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester.

“I am interested in delving into new issues and areas, preparing and presenting motion arguments, and engaging in trial practice in both state and federal courts,” remarked Kelly Geary.  “I am thrilled to join the Adams Leclair team and most excited to learn from all the other attorneys.”

On the personal side, Kelly enjoys tennis, skiing and reading as well as hiking with her 8-year-old golden retriever Lola.
