Adams Leclair Welcomes Two New Attorneys
September 27, 2024
Adams Leclair has expanded its team of attorneys with two recent law school graduates. Ella Humphrey of Pittsford and Penfield native, Jack Cassidy were summer associates in 2022 and 2023 respectively, and both were given offers as they headed into their third year. In May of 2024, Ella graduated from University at Buffalo School of Law and Jack graduated from Syracuse University College of Law.
“We are grateful that these fine lawyers came to us as law students and experienced the culture at Adams Leclair,” said partner Paul Leclair. “They have already worked with our partners and associates and appreciate our high standards. They eagerly accepted our guidance through some aspects of the legal profession, and we are excited to give them more opportunities.”
Prior to attending law school, Ella earned her real estate license and worked for Keller Williams. Ella was also employed at Xerox Corp. in office management, and she spent more than two years as a marketing assistant for a New York City direct-to-customer prime meat supplier with headquarters in Manhattan. Ella was selected as a legal intern through Adams Leclair’s participation in the Honorable Roy W. King Diversity Clerkship Program. Ella continued her clerkship with Adams Leclair remotely during her second and third year of law school.
Jack spent time in the Monroe County Public Defender’s Office and was a legal intern for the Ontario District Attorney’s Office before his clerkship at Adams Leclair. Prior to law school, Jack gained valuable experience in the trades and had become a certified plumber. Given his connections to the construction industry, Jack will focus on construction litigation with his first professional opportunity following law school.
“Ella and Jack came to us with outside experiences that will help them become great commercial litigators. It will be rewarding to see them develop at Adams Leclair both personally and professionally,” said Leclair.
