August 2, 2024
Partner Stacey Trien is the newest member of the board of directors for the Rochester Education Foundation. REF is an independent and non-partisan 501(c) (3) corporation focused on accessing resources for city school students.
The mission is to provide programs to improve learning and locate support through partnerships with educators, businesses, and the community.
“I am excited to join this effort because we need to find sustaining support for students in Rochester,” stated Trien. “Ensuring that our local students have opportunities is imperative for the future of our community.”
REF provides thousands of books which young children can take home from school to read. Hundreds of musical instruments have been given to fourth graders who want to learn to play music, and one-on-one guidance is provided for high schoolers filling out financial aid applications for college.
“We want all children to reach their full potential. This organization is one of those additional resources that can help make that happen. I am happy I can represent Adams Leclair LLP in this mission.”
The Rochester Education Foundation also supports four scholarships which fund higher education goals of city school students.
