Adams Leclair Welcomes Summer Associates Lindsey Oliver and Mary Kate Tramontano
June 6, 2025
Adams Leclair is pleased to welcome two summer associates, Lindsey Oliver and Mary Kate Tramontano, to the firm for the summer. Both bring strong academic credentials, a passion for litigation, and a desire to learn from the firm’s attorneys who focus on construction law and commercial litigation.
Lindsey Oliver
A Rochester native, Lindsey joins Adams Leclair after completing her second year at Syracuse University College of Law. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice Studies and Psychology at Westminster College in Pennsylvania. Her commitment to justice has been shaped by formative experiences—including a senior thesis on intersectionality in sentencing outcomes and an immersive Inside-Out prison course and an internship at the Public Defender’s Office.
“Adams Leclair offers an incredible opportunity to explore areas of the law I’ve never encountered before,” she said. “I’m excited to see how different legal disciplines intersect and to learn from a team that values thoughtful, strategic work.”
Outside of law, Lindsey enjoys cooking, board games, movies, and spending time on the water with family, friends, and her dogs.
Mary Kate Tramontano
Mary Kate hails from Brooklyn, New York, and is also entering her final year at Syracuse University College of Law. She earned dual undergraduate degrees in Public Relations and Policy Studies from Syracuse University, where a communications law course and a summer clerkship with a judge sparked a deeper interest in pursuing a legal career.
“Learning how litigation works in the real world is invaluable,” she said. “I’m looking forward to sharpening my research and writing skills while contributing to meaningful, complex cases.”
Mary Kate will travel to San Francisco in August to present her research paper at a national academic conference. It was selected as the First Place Top Student Paper in the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication’s (AEJMC) Law and Policy Division. She also plans to spend time with her family in Saratoga Springs this summer.
