Adams Leclair Promotes Sara Rule to Paralegal

October 25, 2023

When Sara Rule took an administrative assistant position at Adams Leclair LLP in May of 2023, she was well on her way to officially becoming a paralegal.  Now, with just five weeks left until she finishes the Paralegal Certificate Program at Monroe Community College, the firm has promoted her to paralegal.

“We knew Sara had a lot of talents right from the start,” said COO Carin Cole.  “She explained her goals during the interview process and told us she was looking to advance.  We seek out people who want to continue developing their skills.”

“Adams Leclair really cares about fostering the development of its employees,” said Ms. Rule.  “I kept hearing from the attorneys, paralegals, and support staff that the firm values them for their contributions, so it was an easy decision to accept their offer and start as an assistant.”

Ms. Rule graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2022 as a double major in political science and sociology.  She eventually wants to go to law school and become an attorney. For now, she plans to focus on litigation and learning the ins and outs of the legal system as a paralegal.

“It’s incredible to see how the Adams Leclair team uses its collective litigation experience to get the best outcome for clients.  I am fortunate to have the opportunity to learn new things every day and be involved with work that I genuinely find interesting,” reflected Ms. Rule.

Outside of her full-time position and finishing her paralegal program, the Rochester native enjoys hiking and has already summited fourteen of the forty-six Adirondack peaks.
