Adams Leclair LLP is pleased to welcome Besar Thaci to the firm’s experienced litigation team. With over eight years of experience representing clients across New York State and Federal Courts, Besar brings extensive trial and motion practice expertise to complex commercial, construction, and civil disputes.

Besar’s legal journey is rooted in an expansive international education. He earned his Law Degree from the University of Tirana School of Law in his native Albania, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Stockholm University in Sweden, and a second LL.M. from Pace Law School in New York. He was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2021 to 2025 and Best Lawyers Ones to Watch in 2025.

He previously practiced at prominent New York firms, including Peckar & Abramson, P.C. and Cermele & Wood LLP, and holds admissions in New York, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and Albania.  

For Besar, litigation is a purposeful mechanism for reaching resolution. “The adversarial nature of litigation can help create a platform for the truth to come out,” explained Besar. “Disputes tend to ease or resolve the closer you get there.”

Outside the courtroom, Besar spends most of his personal time keeping up with his two young sons, ages 4 and 2. They are being raised to be bi-lingual and the family enjoys traveling to Albania.
