Adams Leclair LLP is excited to announce commitments from two summer clerks, Ella Humphrey and Jack Cassidy, who will join the firm upon their graduation from law school.

Ella Humphrey started at Adams Leclair in the summer of 2022. She excelled in providing research and litigation support to the attorneys and continued to work part-time for the firm during her second year of law school and again during the summer of 2023.

“We were impressed by Ella’s intelligence and work ethic.  She has exceptional talent.  She worked in the business world before law school and we appreciate that skill set at Adams Leclair,” said Partner Paul Leclair.  ” We are well pleased that she will be an associate soon.”

After graduation from the University at Buffalo School of Law next May, the Pittsford native plans to return to Rochester and join the litigation team.

Jack Cassidy is a JD candidate finishing his degree at Syracuse University College of Law and has accepted Adams Leclair’s offer to join the firm in 2024.  Cassidy served as a law clerk during the summer of 2023 and focused on civil litigation and construction law projects for several partners at the firm.  

Cassidy is a Penfield native who held jobs as a plumber at construction sites around Rochester while he was in high school.  He brings some practical knowledge of the construction industry as he begins a career as a litigator.

“We couldn’t be happier to have Jack come on board as an associate next year,” declared Partner Tony Adams.  “HIs construction experience supplements his legal knowledge nicely.  We anticipate that he will help provide excellent customer service to our construction clients and is a bonus for everyone.”
